Amy Howe becomes FanDuel's Interim CEO

Flutter Entertainment announced the appointment Amy Howe for the position of Interim Director General FanDuel Groupas the search for a permanent successor continues.

Thus, Howe will add interim CEO responsibilities to his current role as president, with continued responsibility to lead the company's core commercial functions in its sports betting, casino, racing, and fantasy units.

She will oversee the company's operational, product, marketing, legal, regulatory and compliance departments. Howe replaces Matt King, who, as announced by Flutter on May 12, is leaving the company on July 16.

"Matt is leaving the company in a really strong position and we wish him all the best for the future," he said Peter Jackson, Global CEO of Flutter Entertainment.

"The temporary appointment of Amy, working with the wider FanDuel management team, will support our key focus on growing the company and maintaining our number one position in the US market."

Howe joined the FanDuel Group in February 2021 from Live Nation Entertainment, where she has held several positions of growing authority, culminating in Global COO of Ticketmaster, the group's largest division.

During her tenure, she led the transformation and modernization of the company's ticketing platform, doubling its gross ticket sales growth and increasing its mobile app installation base by 696 percent. Prior to Live Nation Entertainment, Howe had an illustrious career as a partner at McKinsey & Company.
