Flutter Entertainment established a Workforce Commitment Committee which it says aims to provide a new mechanism between the group's management and its 14,000 workforce termination.
The aim of the newly formed committee is to increase the management's awareness of employee matters in the context of the management's decision-making process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring that Flutter maintains an appropriate employee engagement policy, processes and communication channels in each department; encouraging participation and evaluation of feedback received from employee engagement initiatives; and fully communicating issues identified by employees and other stakeholders as having a significant impact on group employees and communicating such issues to management.
The Employee Engagement Committee will replace the Employee Voice Forum previously created by Flutter to engage employees as recommended by the 2019 UK Corporate Governance Code.
Independent - executive director Mary Turner will chair the committee, and the appointed members are Nancy Cruickshank, Nancy Dubuc, Richard Flint and Gary McGann.
Flutter the network covers Paddy Power, PokerStars, FanDuel and Sky Betting and Gaming has over 14, colleagues from 62 different nationalities speaking 62 languages spread over five continents.

In addition, Flutter subsidiary FanDuel also announced that its new technology campus will be located at Ponce City Market in Atlanta, Georgia.
The company plans to increase the number of employees in Atlanta to approximately 900 associates over the next five years. They will be housed in a newly constructed 62 square foot area on the third floor of the building.
