International game technology increased production of the video lottery terminal following another contract with Western Canada Lottery Corporation
The 1993 CrystalDual VLT supply contract is the third in five years that the group has been awarded a "significant VLT Contract" by WCLC following competing procurement.
Under the agreement, IGT will launch VLT The Price is Right content, inspired by the TV game show of the same name in North America, for the first time on the Canadian market.
In addition, IGT will also introduce a "market-specific content pack" so that players can choose the game they want to play from among the various titles available.
"IGT showcases and content will keep players entertained and engaged across the Saskatchewan VLT network from 2020," said Eric Karmark, WCLC Vice President of VLT Games and Operations.
"By adding new IGT VLTs to our gaming facilities, we continue our commitment to provide our players with an enjoyable gaming experience by offering popular themes on a modern platform."
CrystalDual 27 VLT is equipped with two displays with HD graphics, audio package, ergonomic design, improved player interface and mobile device charging port.
In addition, the cabinets incorporate a "Game to System" communication protocol that enables advanced new features for WCLC such as software download, remote configuration and software verification, and a built-in player user interface that provides an interactive experience.
The new VLTs will also be linked by a central IGT Intelligen system operated by WCLC for the purpose of machine accounting, event tracking and system security.
"Extending IGT's relationship with WCLC by supplying 700 additional VLT units strengthens our commitment to the continuous development of the lottery and the quality of IGT content and cabinet for the market Canadians," David Flinn, IGT Regional Vice President for Canada, South and Central America .
"CrystalDual 27 continues to prove its versatility and importance in gaming markets around the world, and we are delighted to help WCLC raise the level of gaming across the province with this advanced cabinet."
