Playzido, Churchill Downs, and 247Partners: Recruitment Summary

With comings and goings common to the industry, Playzido, 30Partners and Churchill Down Incorporated are part of our latest roster of the last few maneuvers.


Playzido confirmed a few meetings, with Lauren McIlwraith becomes head of finance and Jack Bailey becomes a business development manager.

Bailey will be responsible for managing all of the group's new and existing partners, and McIlwraith will lead the day-to-day conduct of the group's financial operations as the company continues its growth path.

Churchill Downs Incorporated

Jason Sauer has been appointed senior vice president of corporate development at Churchill Downs Incorporated, after first joining the group in 2006 and prior to serving in senior roles, director of corporate development and vice president of corporate development.

In this position, Sauer will work closely with other senior management in the development and implementation of CDI strategies and development initiatives, reporting directly to Bill Carstanjen, CDI CEO.

"Jason brings great skill to both traditional M&A deals and custom, complex trade deals," said Carstanjen. "During his time at CDI, Jason has demonstrated his knowledge and ability to identify and analyze potential growth opportunities, and we are delighted to announce this well-deserved promotion."

Alexa Boiko

to the position of head of branch, where he will bring over three years of experience, he recently worked as an affiliate marketing manager at 7StarsPartners.

He will be working on the company's three online casino brands: Amun Ra, 5Gringos and 7Signs, as well as the group's partners, located in many markets.

President of RaceTech Tom Phillips announced his intention to step down from office in September 30, after a "distinguished career" of 10 years.

Since joining RacingTech as a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee in 2006, Phillips has oversaw a number of major initiatives and milestones as chairman of the organization.

The outgoing chairman will be replaced by Bevan Gibson, who has since served as a non-executive director at RaceTech 2016 and is currently the technology director of EuroMediaGroup, in addition to accumulating significant external and remote transmission experience.

“It was a great privilege to be president of RaceTech. We have achieved a lot as a team over the past years and I enjoy working with such talented and professional colleagues, ”Phillips noted.
